For my final paper topic, I will be writing on the economic effects of tourism in Nepal because of the rise in tourism due to mountaineering and adventure travel.

This last article is one that will prove to be very useful for the writing of this paper. Largely, this is because it was written in 1963, rather than at a more recent time. The article focuses on aspects of Nepal’s economy like agriculture and industry, and plans by Nepal to boost the economy. But the article does not give much mention to tourism as a source of economic gain for Nepal. This article is helpful to show just how much the economy in Nepal has changed since tourism really began to take off in Nepal.
