From what I was finding pollution on Everest is improving but was major concern during the 1980s. My most useful article to make a lot of major points will be <em>Vanity, Pollution and Death on Mt. Everest <\/em>(which I posted as a link for this week) but I found a lot of science based articles on environmental degradation like,\u00a0<em>Growth of Tourism in Nepal&#8217;s Everest Region: Impact on the Physical Environment and Structure of Human Settlements<\/em>.\u00a0I&#8217;m also using <em>Mountains as an Existential Resource, Expression in Religion, Environment and Culture<\/em>\u00a0that\u00a0Jamling Tenzing Norgay (Tenzing Norgay&#8217;s son) wrote as a primary source of how tourism is affecting\u00a0Sherpa culture and their image of Everest.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the rest of my sources:<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><em>Contemporary Human Impacts on Alpine Ecosystems in the Sagarmatha (Mt.
